Established in 2008 as the J & T Green Seed Services, we test agricultural seed for quality control and seed labeling purposes. Native seed testing is our specialty. We test native grasses, forbs, wild flowers, and reclaimation species. We also test traditional agronomic crops and turf grass species...

J & T Green has the goal of providing the highest quality seed testing services possible. Our seed analysts are well experienced and have been testing seeds for over three decades. Although we are one of the newest seed labs, we have quickly become noted for the quality and preciseness of our seed analysis tests.
Located in Twin Falls Idaho, our seed lab has come to the forefront of seed testing of native seed species. Our mainstay is with our quality purity analysis, germination, and tetrazolium testing. The J & T Green Seed Laboratory provides seed tests for quality control and labeling purposes.
We continue to maintain our dedication to the seed industry by providing the highest standards in our procedures so that you receive the quality test results that you look to J & T Green Seed Seed Service to provide.

Native seed testing is and continues to be our specialty. We provide quality testing for the native grass, range, and revegetation species. Purities, germinations, and tetrazolium tests on these species are our bread and butter.
Our analysts have expertise and experience in this area and will analyze your seed samples so that you get the best, most accurate results possible. We service the needs of seed companies and seed growers with their seed testing needs, working with native seed, as well as with more traditional crops.
As seed production and the seed trade broadens and becomes international, the seed industry and governments have made issues surrounding seed quality a top priority. Insuring a quality product, stopping the spread of noxious weeds, and providing accurate labeling are top on their concerns.
Seed growers and companies must adhere to the highest standards if they want to represent their product well in this highly competitive market. At the J & T Green Seed Services, we can help you meet these standards, and together we will insure that every seed lot is clean, viable, and accurately labeled.

J & T Green had its grand opening in May of 2008 with the goal of providing seed testing services to our customers in a timely and courteous manner, while at the same time, providing the most reliable test results.
Although we are a small operation (only 700 square feet) we boast of six germination chambers, two purity analysis stations and personnel who have lots of experience with agriculture in the intermountain west. Not to say, seed testing in general.
J & T Green focuses on the native seed market, seed companies and seedsmen who are not considered to be in the conventional agronomic marketing of seed. Although we can test any of the traditional crops (and have considerable experience with) in addition to our specialty.
As a small business, we understand the issues of agribusiness and the need for personalized service. We may be frugal to keep our costs down like you probably are too, but we are generous with our time and customer service attitude.
We follow the Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA), "Rules for Testing Seed". By adhering exactly to these rules and procedures, testing results from J & T Green can be expected to match other seed laboratories' results using these same rules.
This exacting manner of testing keeps the buying and selling of seed in the market a smooth and seamless process. We support the free trade of seed and do our tests to have such expected results.
